Snow White is Coming to Hinstock – and NOVA Panto is Promising its Biggest Adventure Yet!
NOVA Panto is back in February 2027 with a brand-new production of Snow White, packed with comedy, chaos, colourful characters and everything audiences have come to expect from a traditional family pantomime.
Preparations are already well underway, the cast has been confirmed and rehearsals will soon begin on what promises to be a brilliant new show.
This isn’t quite the Snow White you remember, either.
The story might have a wicked queen, a magic mirror, a poisoned apple and seven dwarfs – but in true NOVA style, things don’t exactly go how you’d expect.
At the centre of the trouble is Wicked Queen Neen, who isn’t particularly pleased when her trusty Magic Mirror reveals that she may no longer be the fairest of them all.
Her solution? Get rid of Snow White, of course.
What follows is a race of unexpected twists and turns and panto chaos involving a reluctant huntsman, an increasingly frustrated wicked queen, two rather questionable evil sidekicks, a prince who has a few problems of his own and plenty of help – or hindrance – from some familiar panto characters.
Plenty of laughs along the way, true fun for all ages.
Leading the comedy are Dotty Dumpling, NOVA’s larger-than-life panto dame her daughter Delilah Dumpling, and the hopelessly love-struck Muddles.
Audiences can expect plenty of the traditional panto favourites – audience participation, terrible jokes, slapstick, songs, larger-than-life characters and more than a few moments where the audience will need to shout at the stage!
And when Snow White eventually finds herself in the forest, she’ll meet the seven dwarfs.
A fantastic local cast
Snow White will be played by Sue East, with Steve Tye taking on the role of Prince Charles.
They’ll be joined by James Prince as Dotty Dumpling, Kim Garner as Muddles, Nina Evans as Wicked Queen Neen, Alix Ralphs as Fairy Fizzle Dust and Ruby Maiden as Delilah Dumpling.
The cast also includes Maria Webster as the Magic Mirror, Hannah Prentice and Kerry Kemp as evil sidekicks Snitch and Sly, Jenn Harvey as Steady Eddie the Huntsman, plus many more.
Completing the seven dwarfs are Jodi Hazell, Thea Brand, Milly Harvey, Kelsey Prince, Isla Bromley, Bethany Bourne and Alex Price.
A proper family pantomime
NOVA Panto has always been about putting on an affordable, fun night of entertainment that the whole family can enjoy, while bringing together performers and volunteers from the local community.
Snow White will take to the stage at Hinstock Memorial Hall in February 2027, with six performances planned across two weekends.
With a brand-new script, a huge cast and plenty of surprises being planned behind the scenes, the group says this year’s production is shaping up to be the best panto yet!
So get ready to boo the Wicked Queen, cheer on Snow White, shout warnings at the stage and probably question some of Dotty Dumpling’s life choices along the way.

One for the grown ups
NOVA will also be doing a special one off version of Snow White with just their 18+ cast members, in a one night only adult version of Snow White, they say if your easily offended you’d be better booking the family version, make of that as you will.
